Season II of the documentary on Ningxia, titled "Under the Helan Mountains", was launched to tell the stories of the hardworking people in Ningxia. The film was produced by the Publicity Department of the CPC Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Committee, CGTN, and the management committee of the wine industry park at the eastern foothills of the Helan Mountains.
The sixth episode illustrates the process of burying grape vines in winter and how it contributes to the unique taste of grapes used for making Ningxia wines. Click the video to learn more about the Ningxia’s wine culture.
