On Sept 7, the Second China (Ningxia) International Wine Culture and Tourism Expo opened in Yinchuan, Ningxia. With the theme of "Chinese Wine: A Marvel to the World", this expo has set up 7 activities, including the construction forum of the Ningxia national comprehensive experimental zone for the development of the grape and wine industry, the third Sino-French wine culture tourism forum and the Helan Mountain wine fair, which fully demonstrates the domestic and international reputation of Ningxia wine.
The eastern foothill of Helan Mountain in Ningxia is located in the "golden zone", sitting at 38° north latitude, with a "golden altitude" of 1,100 meters. Its unique solar and thermal resources and local climatic conditions have created a globally recognized "golden brewing area" for fine wine.
