Ningxia has combined the development of its wine industry with the governance of the Yellow River area and ecological restoration, strengthened regional publicity and promotion, built its own famous brand, and improved comprehensive benefits in recent years.

The meeting is exhibiting a total of 80 watercolor paintings by Hao Linhai, all with Ningxia customs as their theme, and nearly 300 different wines from wineries around the world, which allows it to not only introduce various new wines, but also delves into the unique culture at the eastern foothills of Helan Mountain in Ningxia.

Most of the paintings in the meeting focus on the countryside, trees, water, sunrise and sunsets with northwest regional characteristics. They are elegant in color, flexible in their brush strokes, and present the comfort and tranquility of Ningxia.

In recent years, the wine industry at the eastern foothills of Helan Mountain has been growing stronger, and now plays a crucial role in both domestic and international markets. Hao Linhai is a winner of Merit Award from the International Vine and Wine Organization (OIV), as well as a contributor who has been promoting the development of the wine industry of Ningxia.

The opening ceremony of the meeting was held by Xue Gang, vice president and secretary general of the International Federation of Vine and Wine of Helan Mountain Eastern Foothills. Huang Siming, director of the management committee of the wine industrial park at the eastern foothills of Helan Mountain, and Wang Xuefeng, chairman of Ningxia Artists Association, delivered speeches respectively. Li Demei, director of the department of wine engineering at the Beijing University of Agriculture, as well as a winner of Chevalier de l’Ordre du Mérite Agricole, delivered a speech by video.
