On Aug 25, the Second China (Ningxia) International Wine Culture and Tourism Expo Press Conference was held in Beijing.

Zhao Yongqing, vice chairman of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and vice chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference in Ningxia, introduced that from Sept 6 to 12, the Second China (Ningxia) International Wine Culture and Tourism Expo will be held in Yinchuan, Ningxia. This expo will be jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, and the People's Government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. It will comprehensively present the distinct charm of Chinese wine culture.
There are seven activities in the expo, including the opening ceremony, the construction forum of Ningxia national comprehensive experimental zone for development of grape and wine industry, the third Sino-French wine culture tourism forum, Helan Mountain wine fair, and the Helan Mountain wine night concert.
The Second China (Ningxia) International Wine Culture and Tourism Expo will build a platform for the world to learn about Chinese wine and how it can hold its own among the best wines of the world. It will become the first national exhibition with wine as the theme in China.
In addition to focusing on wine culture tourism, this expo will also expand to education, art, sports and other industries. Moreover, this expo will give full play to the communication between key regions, enterprises and projects to promote the development of Chinese wine in Ningxia.
