From May 19 to June 19, Yinchuan is holding the 2022 Yinchuan Wine-producing Area at the eastern foothills of Helan Mountains dealers' convention. The city will promote the wine industry at the eastern foothills of Helan Mountains featuring high-end, green, intelligent, integrated branding. The effort is to build Yinchuan into a leading, high-quality wine development region in China and the wine capital of the world.

By adopting online promotion plus on site experience, the dealers' convention will hold 11 types of activities including the press conference, dealer tasting and negotiation, Yinchuan wine lecturer certification, Yinchuan wine-producing area consumer education and training, wine culture and art fusion exchange, wine tasting night tour, wine summit forum, "Meet the vineyard" brisk walk. These activities will promote the branding of the wine-producing area at the eastern foothill of Helan Mountains and continue to expand the marketing channels of Yinchuan wine.

These activities are expected to generate sales of wine worth 180 million yuan, and online sales on platforms -- such as JD.com -- of over 40 million yuan. The production area is expected to hold 100 consumer education and training sessions with 2,000 trained people during the activities.
"We seize the strategic opportunity of building the Ningxia National Open Development Comprehensive Pilot Zone for the Grape and Wine Industry and follow the requirements of building the China (Ningxia) International Wine Culture and Tourism Expo and Tourism Expo to hold the 2022 dealer's convention with high-standard planning and careful preparation."
"It is also a crucial activity, aiming to build face-to-face communication and negotiation platform for dealers, production areas and wineries or enterprises. The activity can help break the bottleneck that restricts the growth and development of enterprises. The activity will promote the high-quality development of wine brands and sales in the production area," said an official of Yinchuan Wine Industry Development Service Center.

Yinchuan, as the starting point and the core area for the development of the Ningxia wine industry, has a planting area of 252,000 mu (16,800 hectares) and an output of 75,000 tons of wine grapes. A total of 66 chateaus have been built and put into production, with an annual output of 480,000 tons of wine. There are 12 branded wineries with an annual sale of more than 20 million yuan, seven technology innovation platforms like technology innovation centers and key laboratories, six AAA-level above tourist wineries (three AAAA wineries and three AAA wineries) with an annual tourist number projected at 500,000 people times and the total industrial output value of 23 billion yuan.
